Speaker meeting 19th of August and The Paul Harris Fellowship Award

Another lovely speaker meeting this evening where we were joined by Lucia Luck with a talk entitled "Story of Francis Joseph Sloane; from Student at Ushaw College to wealthy philanthropist." Thank you so much for joining us Lucia and it was a fascinating insight into the life of someone with roots so close to us in the North East. 

Furthermore, we had the honor this evening of awarding our fellow Rotation and dear friend, Mike Sweeting, with a Paul Harris Fellowship award for his significant contribution to Rotary and his local community. Congratulations Mike, well deserved!
