New President

Following on from the Club's three monthly rotation of Presidents, the Club recently welcomed Joy Roscoe as their new President to preside over the Club's activities into the autumn.

Outgoing President David Yeadon expressed his thanks to his fellow members for a happy and successful three months, which included the induction of a new member, a visit to Durham Rowing Regatta , a Coronation Garden Party,  a fundraising sponsored walk, and our annual Charter Night at Headlam Hall, alongside the usual regular meetings, with excellent speakers at The Old Well in the town.

New President Joy's stint has already kicked off with the delivery of 113 School's Thesaurus to six primary schools in Teesdale, and we look forward to our Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) candidate enduring and enjoying a few tough days in the wilds of Teesdale, a charity collection day at our local supermarket, plus some promising speakers at our regular meetings.
