TCR Hub Community pantry

The Rotary Satellite e-club of Barnard Castle (Teesdale) are co-ordinating a project which aims to assist groups involved in tackling food poverty across Teesdale – the TCR HUB’s Community Pantry; the Influence Church’s Storehouse; and Teesdale YMCA.

Their aim is (a) increased awareness of those not having access to sufficient food, or food of an adequate quality, to meet their basic needs and (b) to raise funds for those groups engaged in providing a network of foodbanks.

On Saturday 28th October, they have two events planned at St Mary’s Parish Hall, Barnard Castle: during the afternoon, tabletop presentations about food poverty issues and, in the evening, musical entertainment.
