Barney Christmas lights 2023

As part of the Barnard Castle Christmas Lights event, a parade, starting at The Witham Hall and ending at the Castle, took place with local schoolchildren carrying lanterns they had made.

Brilliant organising by the team from the TCR HUB – led by Rachel Tweddle – and with support from several community groups – resulted in many hundreds enjoying a marvellous occasion. Rotary Satellite e-club members Colin and Hilary were pleased to help with stewarding within the Castle.

The pictures show some scenes within the Castle walls – including one of the TCR HUB’s Family Activities Co- Ordinator (and satellite e-group member) Sarah Gent wearing a cloak of many lights!
