June Speaker evening

Rotary June Speaker Evening consisted of short presentations by members. David Yeadon spoke of the birth of stamp collecting with the introduction of penny blacks and penny reds. Hazel Yeadon introduced us to a collection if poems gathered by Gyles Brandreth - "Dancing By The Light Of The Moon'. Margaret Brown added a note of the mysterious with stories of local ghosts. Finally Gerald Blake gave us recollections of some of the topics introduced in his u3a Geography sessions. All were appreciated by the audience.
